One day Chef John Ash visited to discuss how to bring new life to his Olive Tree from his backyard. He needed to remove it to build an ADU. We all laughed and had fun imagining all the possibilities. It seems like yesterday. Chef John passed away on August 8th. It’s hard to believe. He is leaving beyond a lifetime of mentorship as the original creator of farm-to-table cuisine and wine pairing in #sonomacounty. His artistry extended to the joy of woodworking.
